The temps were up, but attendees had COOL experiences with our collection partners!

A couple of times annually, we'll shoot out a newsletter to our partners featuring your triumphs. We'll gather them from your monthly report, community updates, or anything you let us know directly. No need to hold back - share your victories with us!

Augusta University Orientation Group Experiences

New Augusta University (AU) students were treated to some Authentic Augusta Experiences as part of AU’s Leap Week - a special orientation for new freshman. The off-campus experiences for orientation included the Heart of Augusta Tour (upper left), Time Detectives (upper right), The Curated Palette and Augusta’s Black Caddies.

Students also had the opportunity to participate in group experiences outside of the collection at Field Botanicals, Broad Axe Throwing, Two Dudes & a Boat Kayak Rentals, Tire City Potters, and Pexcho's American Dime Museum.

The students had a wonderful time and received a first-class impression of what Augusta has to offer off campus. Special thanks to Augusta University for their investment in Augusta.

Spreading the Word

Bringing Up a President received coverage in The Augusta Press. They were also featured in an article with Augusta Good News.

The team at Historic Augusta reported one fully sold out performance and a steady growth in ticket sales this summer.

Promenade & Paint was recently featured in Augusta CEO's video content.

Charmain Brackett with Augusta Good News attended The Curated Palette and published a feature with photos on her website.

Phinizy's Eco Explorers got a shout out on WRDW's Morning Mix in early September.

WRDW did a wonderful feature of Augusta's Black Caddies for the Laney Museum.

Innovative Idea

Executive Director Corey Rogers at the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History appointed members of his board to a special committee that will focus on booking Augusta's Black Caddies with local and regional groups. We love this idea as a way to distribute the time it take to do group booking outreach.

Family Reunion Goes Back in Time

The Kelly Family Reunion enjoyed Canal to Cloth this summer. We love this HUGE group photo from the Augusta Canal's Instagram!
