We enjoyed welcoming the Jani-King of Augusta 2024 Franchise Conference at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center last week! Special shoutout to Augusta's Black Caddies - Men On The Bag for giving attendees an extra dose of Augusta history during their meeting. The caddies' trove of stories captures some of the most significant moments in the game of golf. From Gene Sarazen's "shot around the world" to Jack Nicklaus's victories, guests will hear the highs and lows both on and off the golf course in this drama experience. Welcome to the Destination Augusta team, Karen Lee Davis! 🎉 Karen joins as our Chief Marketing Officer, bringing with her more than 20 years of non-profit marketing and strategic communications experience. From outdoor sports enthusiasts and conservationists (National Wild Turkey Federation) to veterans and military families (Hope For The Warriors), she’s served various populations by creating resources for them and increasing public awareness through educational and fundraising campaigns. Most recently, she led the marketing arm of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA. Her passion is bringing out the strengths of a team and empowering them to create bigger things together. She’s energized to work with the Destination Augusta team to create connections and experiences that draw people to our dynamic city and generate the resources needed to elevate our businesses and, more importantly, people. #ComeSeeAugusta
